Education & Formation
Support of the education and formation of children and youths as well as sustainably advocating the academic schooling of young adults is a major concern of the EUROPA-CENTER Uwe Heinrich Suhr Foundation. Through scholarships, the foundation endorses opportunities of advancement while ensuring that this concept is passed to the younger generation.
Germany Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium)
In order to reliably support young adults on their path towards employment, the founder considers it a particular responsibility to fund educational projects in form of scholarships and awards. For this purpose the foundation awards several Germany Scholarships (Deutschlandstipendien) at (northern-)German universities.
The Germany Scholarship, an initiative of the Federal Government co-funded by private donors, supports talented and committed students. Selection considers academic performance as well as personal commitment and community services.
Currently, the foundation funds nine scholarships at: HafenCity University, Bremen University of Applied Sciences, and University of Bremen.
