Connected to a Lifetime's Work

The Uwe Heinrich Suhr Foundation was established in 1999. Its core mission is to continue the life's work of its founder, Uwe H. Suhr — the EUROPA-CENTER Real Estate Group — while permanently supporting charitable, social, and civic initiatives as well as science and research. In 2012, the foundation's name was expanded to EUROPA-CENTER Uwe Heinrich Suhr Foundation, reflecting its close connection to the EUROPA-CENTER Real Estate Group.

It was always important to Uwe Heinrich Suhr to combine entrepreneurial activity with social responsibility. For nearly three decades, the foundation has provided the operational platform for this commitment. In particular, at locations closely linked to his companies, the founder sees it as his obligation to promote projects in the fields of science and research, education and upbringing, art and culture, as well as environmental and heritage conservation.
